May 28, 2008 Dear Werner, Hello, my name is Lisa P., and Terry of Friendly Pony Parties ask that I write you as a reference. My daughter, Bella, who is now 6, has gone to pony camp the last 2 summers, as well as some camps during holiday breaks. My son, who will be 3 in September, has gotten to spend time with me at camp, and will get to be a camper for the first time this year! Clearly, we love Terry's camps. The ponies and other animals are gentle and sweet, and the staff is great. The overall focus is on building the children's confidence. The activities are so fun for the kids, and the time is paced with breaks for quiet activities or snacks so the day is not overwhelming. Hi Terry, Avery and Max had such a wonderful time yesterday--thank you so very much. We are all still walking on air a little over those baby goats. I know you see farm babies that small all the time, but for us it was very unique and heartwarming. The day that Avery and Max would like to "shadow" you is Saturday, May 3rd. Does that day work for you? Rich imagines that he'd like to start at 9am and finish around 2. What sorts of things would you all do together? Could Olivia give Avery a riding lesson on Daisy? How much would you charge? I'm going to send the Palo Alto Menlo Park Mothers' Club (a big, huge club with a big, huge e-mail list) a note about your camps. Anything special you'd like me to mention?
